About

Since its incorporation in 1973, the 'Henkel Polymer Group' of companies has achieved steady internal growth as a privately owned enterprise. Following the introduction and representation of leading overseas chemical manufacturing concerns, company founder Mzee Henkel soon realized the demand for the provision of economical solutions necessary for the preservation and long term sustainability of valuable natural resources-more specifically water and timber. Consequently, the company parted from its exclusive trading activities to pioneer the way forward in two specific areas, water stabilization, and outdoor fiberglass furniture. In the ensuing years, polyester body putty and the original fiberglass pick-up body panels joined the portfolio of ground-breaking composite products. The Henkel Polymer Group of Companies commenced business with Henkel Chemicals East Africa in Kenya (1973), followed by Henkel Polymer Tanzania (1992) and Henkel Polymer in Uganda (1998). Having established a consolidated presence throughout the East African Community, the company specializes in the following product sectors;  Swimming pools – care and maintenance.  Detergents.  Adhesives.  Fiberglass products.  Industrial & fine Chemicals.  Polyester Body Putty.  Rainwater harvesting and utilization. Henkel’s mission statement is to provide outstanding value for all its products and to save and preserve the TREE, through maximum use of fiberglass products, giving the customer a guarantee of 30 years or more, while saving the environment and proud to be ECO-FRIENDLY!! The Henkel Polymer group shall not forget its historical responsibility and corporate mission of working together with all levels of society for a bright future for the company and all stakeholders
