The Georgian Tourism Association (GTA) is a membership-based, non-governmental, non-profit organization of private tourism enterprises, hotels, wine companies, Tvet colleges, Airlines and transport companies in Georgia. With 298 -member companies, GTA is the largest association within the tourism sector in the country. The association was founded 2006 (Reg. No: 00856/12/0453, Tax code: 204501084) to promote cooperation between tourism enterprises in Georgia, cooperation between the private and public sectors, regional and sustainable tourism development, accessibility of tourism information and country marketing, capacity building and quality management for tourism services throw professional education. GTA works on product development in incoming, domestic and outgoing tourism. The association stands for the improvement of the quality of tourism services and capacity building with the mission to help companies operating in Georgia to create more benefits for themselves and society based on cooperation. Goal is to help businesses operating in Georgia create more benefit for themselves and the society based on joint cooperation. GTA is committed to increase Private Public Partnership, to nature protection and sustainable tourism development in Georgia.
