Fraunhofer IPMS is a global leader in research and development of electronic and photonic microsystems, driving innovation in Smart Industrial Solutions, Medical & Health, and Mobility. Our industry-standard cleanrooms include a 1,500 m² MEMS and MOEMS facility supporting technology readiness levels 3 to 8 for process development to pilot production on 200 mm wafers, a 300 m² microdisplay cleanroom for 200 mm wafers, and a 2,700 m² CMOS cleanroom for 300 mm wafers covering both Back-End and Front-End processes. Extensive analytical and characterization tools complete our capabilities. Through research in key technologies, we develop independent, sustainable solutions that meet global market demands.
