What Makes Us Different ? Our Mission: Delivering Food With Dignity. For the single-parent families we serve, a simple trip to a food bank is often impossible. When a parent or child is facing a serious illness or disability, they are confronted with immense challenges—not from personal choice, but from real-world barriers: the trauma of domestic abuse, the lack of safe, affordable housing, and the struggle to survive on inadequate disability payments. We exist to solve this. We provide a Home-Delivered Food Hamper Service—a unique model in Canada. Through this service, we deliver perishable and non-perishable food hampers to single-parent families where a disability or illness in the family prevents them from going to a traditional food bank. Our impact also grows through our Food Hub model, where we provide rescued and donated foods to help other like-minded charities in our community, maximizing our collective effort to fight food insecurity. Our commitment is to empower these single-parent families with not just food, but hope. While they are our core focus, we know that seniors and other individuals face similar barriers. Our goal is to expand our service to them through new strategic partnerships.
