JPI Oceans is an institutionalised, transgovernmental platform with the capacity to prioritise, structure, and fund transnational research and innovation for sustainably healthy and productive seas and oceans. We serve the interests of our member countries and their ocean-related political priorities, whilst maintaining agile governance and streamlined operations that enable a dynamic agenda of impactful activities. Our newly published Strategy Framework 2026-30 sets out the strategic cornerstones and thematic scope for the next five years.
