We are an independent, interdisciplinary think tank devoted to the nations and regions of Europe. For us, Europe’s diversity is its strength and something to be cherished and researched. That diversity does not only exist at the national level. Our Vision: EUNRO seeks a Europe where every region's unique culture thrives, empowered by autonomy and enhanced governance, contributing to a diverse and harmonious continent where all identities are preserved and celebrated. Our Mission: Our mission is to preserve Europe’s cultural and linguistic diversity by empowering its regions with greater autonomy and improved governance. We achieve this by producing high-quality, accessible, and interdisciplinary research on Europe’s regions and reaching policymakers with insightful policy papers. Through our work, we aim to create a Europe where regional cultures and languages are not only protected but flourish in the modern era.
