As a Software Project Engineer I program embedded stuff (using C/C++/Python), but I'm also responsible for making sure my team has everything they need. As a mentor I am very engaged teaching young talents our craft, it's a really enlightening and rewarding experience. I'm also climbing freak, too. The physical and mental challenges, nature all around and the spirit of partnership between climbers – these are the things I enjoy the most in rock climbing. The field of metal additive manufacturing (3D printing) has been moving forward at an incredibly fast pace the last few years. In part due to a better understanding of design for AM, costs for printed metal components can be reduced and business cases are increasing from different industries. I'm a sporty person, and basketball was my main sport growing up. Since moving from US to Finland I have now been doing more winter sports like ice skating and skiing.
