The "Energy Transition and Development Transformation Laboratory – ENTRA Lab" was established in the Department of Chemical Engineering of the Polytechnic School of the University of Western Macedonia by the Associate Professor Dr. Lefteris Topaloglou. The main objective of the laboratory is to contribute to the creation of sustainable solutions in the field of energy transition and policy development at the local and regional level. By fostering the connection between academic research and practical implementation, ENTRA Lab aims to integrate innovative solutions into practice by conducting pioneering research activities. Research Priorities: - Energy development and fair transition policies - Governance of energy transition - Strategies for climate neutrality - Developmental energy planning - Cross-border cooperation in energy transition matters - European policies for green energy development - Scientific monitoring and evaluation mechanisms - Systematic consultation and scientific support for energy transition issues.
