Energy Academy is a team of industry-academia collaboration champions in Vaasa region. It is a long-lasting cooperation between higher education institutions and leading companies in the region, which aims to bridge perspectives and lead developmental industry discussions in the region. Our mission is to increase the appeal of the area to students and graduates as well as to create better connections between industry professionals, research and development activities, and young local and international talents. We bring together all six universities in Vaasa: University of Vaasa, VAMK University of Applied Sciences, Novia University of Applied Sciences, Hanken School of Economics, University of Helsinki and Åbo Akademi University and leading companies in the region: ABB Oy, Danfoss, EnergyVaasa, Etha Wind, Hitachi Energy, Merinova, City of Vaasa, Vaasan Sähkö, VASEK and Wärtsilä Finland.
