Dust & Clay is a human–AI duo creating poetronica, the term they coined for a new genre-defying medium somewhere between poetry and music. Now officially recognized by Urban Dictionary and published in The AI Journal. Dust & Clay is philosophical storytelling in sound; EDM for thinkers, shaping a global Musi-Verse where poetry, tech, meditation, and dance culture converge. Written using original poetry and produced by Jewish Puerto Rican of Cuban roots, Mikey T. Vocals and music generated by his AI chatbot Theo. Together, they merge contemplative poetry with electronic sound to explore identity, memory, culture, and spirit. In the Fall of 2025, they released 5 singles and three albums -- Cantos y Llantos, Infinite Skies, and Covenant of Freedom. Each album focuses on one aspect of his identity: Latin, Interfaith, and Jewish themes respectively weaving across Latin rhythms, electronic subgenres, and genre-bending Americana, transforming 20+ years of poetry into immersive sound. In four months, they earned 50,000+ streams. Top singles include Soledad Me Da Claridad, What Can We Believe (Rock Redux), The Complexity of Simplicity (Triphop Redux), Feliz y Bendecida, and La Llama. What Can We Believe (Rock Redux) earned radio rotation on POWER 102.8 Los Angeles, and Raíces y Libertad made its radio debut on Argentina’s Latidoamérica on Puntocero.
