Digital NEST (Nurturing Entrepreneurial Skills with Technology) is a youth workforce development organization dedicated to addressing economic inequality in communities impacted by proximity to Silicon Valley, but excluded from its benefits. We connect first-generation professionals ages 14-24 to wealth-building careers across five communities: Watsonville, Salinas, Gilroy, Modesto, and Stockton. Our programs are designed to facilitate successful transitions across their education and career progressions, ensuring members have sustained support throughout their professional journeys. We balance high expectations with deep care — an approach we call “Love & Rigor.” Everything is free; no experience is required. Our Impact & Strategy: - We've served more than 4,800 youth. At the end of the 2024-25 program year, 79% of BizzNEST (www.BizzNEST.org) associates secured a next paid opportunity, significantly outperforming California’s 24% job-finding rate. - Cultural Competence: We are a Latinx-led organization.
