The 100% owned Käfersteige mine was operated by Bayer AG until 1996 and is often described as Europe's largest fluorspar deposit. Deutsche Flussspat is aiming to bring the mine back into production and supply 40% of the German industry needs, particularly for the transition towards e-mobility.
