Common Root Collective is a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to art through inclusive programs, creative resources, and community initiatives, with a focus on nontraditional and community-based learning. Our work is grounded in trauma-informed and healing-centered approaches, creating opportunities for individuals to engage in creative expression in ways that are accessible, flexible, and responsive to real-life needs. We prioritize environments that support connection, emotional awareness, and personal growth through art. We design and lead programs that remove barriers to participation, particularly for individuals navigating disability, transportation challenges, or systemic gaps in services. Our initiatives include creative supply distribution, hands-on workshops, and the development of accessible spaces that support consistent engagement in creative practice. Common Root Collective is committed to supporting individuals of all abilities and backgrounds, with an emphasis on nontraditional learning settings and community-rooted approaches. Through collaboration with local artists, organizations, and service providers, we work to build sustainable, inclusive pathways to creative access and connection.
