Charter Oak State College is an accredited, public college in the Connecticut State Colleges & Universities (CSCU) system offering career-focused online bachelor's, master's and associate degrees and certificates. Charter Oak State College was established in 1973 by the Connecticut Legislature to provide an alternative way for adults to earn associate and bachelor's (baccalaureate) degrees. The College is regionally accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE).
