Founded in 1966 by the University of Poitiers and the town of Royan, the CAREL offers intensive language programs and immersion courses for school age and adult learners in FLE (French as a foreign language), English, German, Spanish and Russian, both for French nationals and foreign students. The CAREL is also an approved TOEIC, BULATS, DELF / DALF, TCF and Bright Language testing centre.
