Founder & President: Dr. Lopamudra Das Roy, Distinguished Cancer Scientist-Research Professor, resigned from her career to create & grow BCH as a Full-time Pro bono humanitarian service with a dream to save lives by making impactful sustainable changes working at the grassroots level bridging the gap between the Developed & the Developing countries. We stand together against ALL CANCER through our BCH Wings – CANCER HUBS with the following GOALS: 1. EARLY DETECTION & PREVENTION: Cancer Screening Camps/Community Outreaches/Educational Awareness Seminars. We navigate suspicious cases towards healthcare facilities & affordable options. 2. RESEARCH - Untapped Sectors to change healthcare policies; 3. “ADOPTING VILLAGES” for door-to-door Cancer Screening & follow-ups, Palliative Care, Treatment Management. We take accountability for each patient. 4. PATIENT TREATMENT AID, towards underprivileged populace in poverty; 5. PATIENT COUNSELLING, scientific analysis of the cancer diagnosis & treatment. 6. PATIENT ADVOCACY -we publish interviews in local languages & stories of our advocates who inspire others fighting Cancer; 7. BCH CANCER SUPPORT GROUPS formed with advocates from across the world; 8.
