Artists and Writers ·
As a fiber artist and papermaker, I push the boundaries of both mediums, aiming to spark a sense of wonder in those who engage with my work. My artistic journey begins in my Northern California garden, where I harvest plants to create my favorite art supplies: natural dyes and unique fibers. These become the foundation for my wall sculptures, collages and sculptural weavings. I'm also known for incorporating unexpected 'fiber stand-ins' like used guitar strings, a nod to my parallel artistic path as a singer-songwriter. I see the world through the lens of possibility, and this positive outlook and sense of wonder are central to the art I create. By basing my work in natural, upcycled, and unexpected materials, I hope to encourage people to rethink their assumptions and expectations. I believe creativity is key to critical thinking, and through my art and creative workshops, I strive to stimulate that spark in others. Exhibition Highlights: My work has been invited to more than 20 juried exhibitions across the U.S. since 2022. Notable inclusions feature the 2025 Crocker Kingsley exhibition and the Slice exhibition of Contemporary California Art in both 2023 and 2025
