About

ALPLA entered the African market in 2014 when it opened a production facility in Kempton Park (South Africa). In Northern Africa, we started with the acquisition of Argo and formed a partnership with the Egyptian Taba Group, both are now operating under the name ALPLA TABA. With the acquisition of Boxmore Packaging – a leader in PET preforms, bottles and closures – ALPLA has transformed from an initial team of 30 people to over 1,400 people at 13 locations in 5 different countries in Africa. In 2007, ALPLA opened its first plant in the Middle East in Dammam (Saudi Arabia) with ZAMIL Plastic as its partner. Since then, ALPLA expanded with production plants in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) and Dubai (U.A.E.). Today, a team of 360 employees produces high-quality packaging for markets such as home & beauty care, beverage and food. ALPLA Turkey began its journey in 1992 with the opening of an in-house operation in Izmir, the plant has grown to around 420 employees with 5 production sites. As a family-owned company, we think and act independently and with long-term goals. That’s why our employees can rely on safety, accountability and a respectful environment in which we develop high-end packaging solutions. The African, Middle East and Turkey market is very dynamic, fast paced and offers a lot of opportunities. We are always looking for people who are curious, passionate and excited to shape the future with us in this region. Visit our website and discover what we have to offer.
