One of the questions that lexicographers often get asked is how they decide which words to add to the dictionary. This is an important question, as the identification and assessment of new words is a crucial part of the lexicographic process. In this article, Fiona McPherson and Danica Salazar discuss the process. Our Learning at Work week focused on the theme of ‘connection’ for a variety of global events, initiatives, and competitions for everyone to get involved in.
